Last night I saw Windows Vista for the first time. It was on a friend's laptop who is new to PCs in general. A couple of us were trying to walk him thru some basics including using MS Word, and navigating the file system. One consistent problem I noticed with Vista, is that the UI seems designed for the newbie and the experienced user at the same time, but is ultimately confusing to both.

On Saturday, the bands were excellent. I captured video footage of three of them. The first of which was this guy who goes by Exit, and bares an uncanny resemblance to Cleveland boy David K. Several folks made comparisons to The Church - one of my favorite bands. He had a member of Iris (also from Austin) join him on stage at the end. I visited friends in the Phoenix area over the weekend. The drive down to Chandler took five hours. US-95 has also been upgraded for most of its route.
